What is ReCheck?
ReCheck exports and checks data contained in the PDF documents as invoices, bills, pay slips, bank statements, technical sheets and charts. It can process single files or thousands of documents saved in a folder. The software automates also the data entry into your ERP: it exports all the useful items in a CSV and XML file and imports them in your ERP, reducing the manual activity effectively.
What kind of documents can you check?
The software checks all PDF files. Documents can be in vector format or scanned format, thanks to the fact that ReCheck integrates the OCR technology.
How does ReCheck work?
First of all you define the Templates for the document, that’s to say the rules with which the software reads and checks the different types of documents. Then you choose the items (data) to find and the check criteria to follow. You select the PDF files folders and you start processing. Finally the software presents the results, by highlighting what checks have been done and what mistakes have been found.
What is a document Template?
It’s the window to define the rules with which the software reads and checks the different types of documents. You can set many document Templates (electric bill, invoice from a supplier, expense account, etc.). Items and checks compose each Template.
What are the items?
The items allow you to define all the elements, which can be exported from the PDF documents or requested to the ERP/billing System or other company system through Web Services. Thanks to ReCheck you can export items such as numbers, texts, accounting data, dates and percentages.
What are check criteria?
Check criteria verify the elements and create the results sorted by three kind (Error, Attention or Correct). It is also possible to apply secondary check criteria according to the result coming from the first-level check. Thanks to ReCheck you can verify if an item is included in the documents and if it has a correct format (a date, for example). You can compare different items or groups of items in a document, even if coming from sums and multiplications (the sum of the first five rows must be the total found in the sixth row, for example). You can check if the items are greater or less than other elements (to get notified in case of too big amounts, for example).
How many items and check criteria can I define?
You have no limits in this sense; you can configure as many items and check criteria as you want.
Can ReCheck verify different types of PDF in a unique processing task?
The software provides for processing Settings with which you can combine many Document Templates in order to process an irregular batch of PDF (for example, gas and electric bills).
How do the processing settings work?
You choose the different document Templates and you associate them to a singular processing setting. Given that you can select also a validity date for this settings, you can save different document layouts as historical data time after time.
How long does it take to ReCheck to verify a PDF?

You can export all the configured items and the check criteria in CSV/Excel and XML format. Furthermore, you can export also the singular documents and the processing reports if you want to proceed with any further statistical analyses.
Can I export just few items?
Yes, you can. The software lists the selected items in a window and you can choose while configuring which ones to export. If you choose the CSV format, you can export a single file for the items and one for the checks. If you choose the XML format, you can export a unique file including both items and checks.
Can I export only the result of the checks?
Yes, you can. The software lists the selected checks in a window and you can export all. If you choose the CSV format, you can export a single file for the items, and one for the checks. If you prefer the XML format, you can export a unique file with both items and checks.
What types of XML exportations can I experience?
You can decide to export items and checks in XML for each document (the file highlights the items and the performed checks for each processed document) or for each check (the file highlights the result on each single document for each single check).
Can I organize the items and the checks in groups in XML?
When you create a document Template, you can add optional tags on certain items in order to group them. When you export in XML then, the file orders the items according to the correspondent groups. In case of multiple items, you can also create subgroups.
